Full job description

Westbourne House are looking for a Catering Officer to join their team on a part-time basis of 20 hours per week.

Our service users are amazing to work with, the environment in which you will work will be fun and super rewarding, being able to make a difference to those most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community. Leading on some cooking classes, teaching essential independent living skills and cooking on a budget, a varied role with great levels of job satisfaction.

The role will lead on the delivery of a well-balanced meal provision to our service users involving menu planning, food ordering, meal preparation and food delivery three times daily as well as ensuring that kitchen areas, food stock and storage meet the requirements of Food Hygiene, Fire and Health and Safety Standards.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is essential with the willingness to work towards a Level 3 as well as experience of working in a busy kitchen.

Salary - £13,520.00 per annum.
