Midshire signature Services Ltd is an experienced independent contract caterer specialising in bringing a bespoke and tailored solution to our clients. We have a diverse range of customers and pride ourselves on delivering fresh food solutions.

Key responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee the daily delivery of hospitality and events, ensuring quality, service, and presentation meet agreed client and company standards.
  • Plan and execute hospitality for college functions, conferences, and special events, including internal and external bookings.
  • Manage logistics for events, including staff scheduling, equipment, and set-up/breakdown.
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and brand standards on-site.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the college’s events and hospitality services.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Chef experience 5 years minimum.
  • Front of house experience required.
  • Experience in hospitality, catering, or events management in a contract catering or multi-site environment.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety (Level 3 minimum) and health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the business, including evenings/weekends for events.
  • IT literacy
  • Ability to obtain a satisfactory Enhance BDS

The role is based on Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm - term time plus four Saturdays per year.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £15.62 per hour

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Supervising : 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
