Full job description

Optimal Chef Services is looking to expand our network of reliable, experienced freelance chefs who can support our clients across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Staffordshire.

We work with restaurants, hotels, gastro pubs, wedding venues, care settings and contract catering sites. If you’re confident stepping into different kitchens, maintaining high standards, and delivering consistently under pressure, we want to hear from you.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef
  • Ability to work independently in new environments
  • Strong food safety standards
  • Fully self-employed (UTR number required)
  • Own whites, knives and transport preferred
  • Reliability and professionalism
