Full job description
Here at Out of Bounds, we are currently recruiting for Chef to Assist the Café department within our activity centre. The Chef is responsible for assisting the day to day management and running of our Kitchen. You will Assist every aspect of the Kitchen, working closely with the Chef Team to successfully deliver the Café operation.
If you have a proven track record as an experienced in catering and are professional, organised, possess a passion for success and can successfully Assist a Kitchen team then we would love to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will:
- Prepare and cook the menu to the highest standard
- Be able to assist with ordering of stock and manage stock control within agreed budgets and GP margins
- Be able to follow, maintain and demonstrate high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Be confident and experienced to follow and adhere to all rules of Health and Safety
- Have a minimum of Level 2 Food Hygiene, further training can be provided
- Possess the ability to successfully delegate, lead and motivate the team with confidence.
- Maintain legislation and compliance
- Work closely with the front of house team
- Work to company targets and KPIs'
- Maintain company systems & procedures
Hours of work:
Worked flexibly across 7 days, with scheduled days off. Attractive working hours predominantly between 08.30 - 1830, for the exception of Friday Saturdays, and ad hoc events, where the finishing times will be around 20.00, No split shifts.
