Company Overview: PSI Production is a leading provider of production services in Ireland, catering to the event, film and television industries. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of productions across the country.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transportation of Equipment: Safely transport production equipment and materials to and from various locations, including venues, event sites, and warehouses.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are well-maintained, cleaned, and serviced regularly. Maintain reports of same. Report any issues or necessary repairs to the Operations and Logistics Manager promptly.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of heavy and delicate equipment, ensuring all items are handled with care to avoid damage.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the logistics and production teams to plan efficient routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of equipment to meet production timelines.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Ensure all necessary documentation, such as driving licenses and permits, are up to date.
  • Client Interaction: Provide a professional and courteous service to clients and production crew, representing PSI Production in a positive manner at all times.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly address and resolve any transportation-related issues that may arise during production, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driving License: Must hold a full, clean driving license Category C2 or higher.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a driver in the production or event industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with transporting large or sensitive equipment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of Irish road networks and traffic regulations. Knowledge of health and safety practices in the production environment is a plus.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by production schedules.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Requirements:

  • Location Flexibility: Willingness to travel and stay overnight in various locations, as needed.
