Sodexo is looking for an experienced and motivated Chef Supervisor to join our team in Belfast.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, supporting the day-to-day kitchen operation while helping to lead the team and ensure consistently high standards of food quality, service, hygiene and safety.

What you’ll do

  • Supervise and support the kitchen team, ensuring a professional and efficient service
  • Prepare, cook and present food to a consistently high standard
  • Support menu planning and ensure food is prepared in line with agreed recipes and specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, HACCP and Health & Safety
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control and service standards
  • Support stock management, ordering and stock rotation
  • Ensure allergen and dietary requirements are managed correctly
  • Lead by example, supporting and developing team members
  • Organise daily tasks and ensure the kitchen is prepared for service
  • Monitor food waste and support effective cost control
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Work closely with management and the wider catering team to deliver a consistent service
  • Support Saturday cover and additional catering requirements when required

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience as a Chef, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • High standards of food quality, presentation and customer service
  • A proactive, professional and hands-on approach
  • Ability to motivate and support a team in a busy catering environment
