Full job description

Overview
Due to being let down we are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team with an immediate start date available . The ideal candidate will have a strong background working within a busy kitchen, with a flair for food preparation and presentation. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences and ensuring the highest standards of food production.

This position is offered with the option of live-in onsite accommodation, Rent is charged at £65 per week which includes your own room, one cooked meal per day, wifi, laundry facilities and utililities

Working hours: approx 48 hours per week, covering a range of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner shifts.

Approx £35k package (Salary of £31k, plus approx £4k per year tips)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service for your section.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations.
  • Manage food inventory, ensuring quality control and minimising waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for food production and creativity.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
