About The Role

We are recruiting for an Assistant Cook

Hours: 40 hours per week and you will be required to work every second weekend.

Located in Doune

About the role:

To provide a high quality food catering service within the allocated budget, whilst promoting healthy eating and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, in partnership with the Head Cook.
  • Maintain a clean environment at all times
  • Assist with prep work
  • Complete food hygiene documentation
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment and crockery is cleaned after use and stored correctly
About you
Good attention to detail with a passion for keeping busy, you will enjoy working in a busy kitchen that provides excellent meals and snacks to residents with learning disabilities and autism.

About The Service

A stunning manor situated in the picturesque village of Deanston, Doune. The service benefits from large grounds on the edge of the village, close to local amenities.

The service offers a high standard off nursing care and supports people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behavior.

The home provides 3 individual and independent suites accommodating up to 6 in each, with a further two studio apartments on the ground floor.
