Stirk House Hotel is an award-winning wedding and events hotel located in the picturesque Ribble Valley.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to work from the start of April through to October, assisting in either the restaurant kitchen or function kitchen.
We have a single kitchen team who work from two kitchens – one purpose-built kitchen for event catering and one new build kitchen which is open plan into our branded restaurant, Seasons.
Experience/skills required:
- Minimum 12 months experience at CDP chef level with references to back up experience
- Useful qualifications include - Modern Apprenticeship/NVQs or SVQs, City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HND in professional cookery, foundation degree in culinary arts
- Health and safety and food hygiene certificate
- Must have the ability to multi-task while remaining focused
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and tasks given to complete work to the agreed standards and in the agreed timescales
- Must have the ability to remain calm in high stress situations
- Exerience of following food and safety regulations
- Excellent team work skills
- Customer service skills
