JOB OVERVIEW
CSVPA is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support our food and beverage service across the campus. We take pride in delivering a first-class experience at CSVPA and this hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include food preparation, serving and cleanup. This role requires cleanliness, reliability and strong teamwork, all in a fast-paced environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist in producing meals at high volume, ensuring quality is maintained and value for money is achieved.
To ensure all students & staff are getting a varied and balanced diet in accordance with the Government legislation requirements (food policy in schools/boarding standards agency)

General Duties:

• Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently to students, staff, guests, and the public.
• Comply with all food hygiene, health and safety, allergen, and cleaning protocols, including HACCP and COSHH standards.
• Support stock control, cleaning schedules, waste reduction, and food safety documentation.
• Represent the catering team positively and uphold the school’s values of Excellence, Care, and Community in all aspects of your role.
• Work across multiple service points as directed and as per rota.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Good level of spoken and written English
• Previous experience in an educational/facilities environment desirable
• Ability to work using own initiative
