Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team in a supervisory capacity within our food production and hospitality environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and lead a team of culinary staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Supervise and manage food production processes, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Assist in training new team members in food safety, preparation techniques, and service protocols
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage stock rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area according to health & safety guidelines

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality setting
  • Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Experience in food safety procedures and compliance with health regulations
  • Previous restaurant or catering experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and hospitality standards
  • Experience in serving customers or clients in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
