Fratelli’s Catering & Events Ltd – Preston & Lancashire

Fratelli’s Catering & Events Ltd is a well-established catering company known across Preston and the wider Lancashire area for delivering high-quality, authentic wood-fired pizza at weddings, private events, and festivals.

We operate from a dual setup, working both from our stationary base at Brindle Distillery and our mobile wood-fired pizza van, allowing us to cater for a wide range of events across Lancashire and beyond.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our growing team. The role involves working across both our permanent base at Brindle Distillery and our mobile catering unit at external events such as weddings, private parties, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and stretching fresh pizza dough to a high standard
  • Cooking pizzas in a wood-fired oven at both base and event locations
  • Delivering consistent quality and speed during busy service periods
  • Setting up and packing down the mobile catering unit when required
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Working closely with the events team to ensure smooth service
  • Representing Fratelli’s professionally at all times

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques specific to pizza making and general culinary skills
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or serving environment is advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • A passion for culinary arts and delivering excellent customer service
