Overview

We are an independent catering company based in Banbury, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the business.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm 40 hour per week (with occasional Saturdays and evenings)

Duties

  • Answering telephone calls and handling customer enquiries
  • Responding to emails in a professional manner
  • Daily trips to supermarkets
  • Raising purchase orders and assisting with basic accounts
  • Placing supplier orders
  • Assisting in the kitchen when required
  • Carrying out deliveries
  • Stock taking and inventory management
  • Supporting business growth by helping generate new opportunities

Requirements

  • Basic food knowledge
  • Full, clean driving licence and confidence in driving
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic IT skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
