Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a cook. Duties

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
  • Cook and plate dishes ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation meet established guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Support meal preparation for various service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
  • Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional customer service
  • Serve meals to customers when required, providing friendly and professional assistance

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable
