Full job description

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain standards of safety and hygiene per legislation and other statutory requirements
  • Set up service counters, serving food and clear down of area afterwards.
  • Prepare food for Nursery children
  • Cleaning of all crockery, cutlery and service utensils
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of presentation
  • Contribute towards the delivery of hospitality and events around site including the set-up, service and clear down as required, including out of hours events
  • Deal with student queries or requests in a polite and efficient manner
  • Present a smart, professional appearance and excellent personal hygiene
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of all policies and procedures.
  • Carry out any reasonable request from any member of the Management team within the general scope and purpose of the job
  • To use cleaning materials as provided.
  • To operate cleaning machinery in cleaning soft and hard surfaces, eg. Vacuum cleaners, dishwasher.
  • Reporting defects / hazards as required - Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time

Additional Duties

To perform any responsibilities associated with being a member of the school's staff, as reasonably directed by the Commercial Director, Deputy Head and Executive Head
