Schedule: Saturday and Sunday; Split shifts 7am to 12 pm & 3pm to 8pm and Wednesday 15.00 - 20.00

Starting Rate: £13.00 per hour

The Role:

We are seeking a talented chef to join and support leadership of a catering team based in a production site, who will work with Chef Manager, Head Chef and catering team to deliver breakfast, lunch, dinner and vending to our hungry customers!

You must be a real foodie with your finger on the pulse, passionate about creating high-quality meals in a modern, dynamic workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the provision of freshly prepared meals for for a breakfast and evening service
• Support the Head Chef with menu writing
• Support the Catering manager with training of the weekend team.
• Supervise the general assistants working on shift with you
• Ensure vending is kept to required levels
• You will work with an excellent range of local suppliers and producers including quality local butcher, bakery and fruit & veg suppliers.
• Support Food Safety / H&S and due diligence to be completed accurately.
• Input on promotional activity, to add value to the service and/or increase sales.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Help foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and professional growth.
• You will be responsible for representing TNS and maintaining our excellent relationships with our clients and customers.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a chef or similar, in a quality fresh food environment. A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
