Job Vacancy – Upper Crust Catering

Job Title – Van Sales driver

Location – Field Based various routes throughout North Wiltshire

Salary – Competitive hourly rates of pay plus Bonus scheme, 28 days Holiday, NEST Pension scheme, Company Uniform

Sick pay – None other than SSP

Position type – Full Time 30-35 hours per week

Upper Crust are looking for a Van Sales Driver for 30-35 hours per week, to cover one of the Swindon routes.

The successful applicant must have a current clean driving license, aged 25 or over, and experience with direct selling would be preferred.

Working hours are typically 7.30 - 2.30 Monday to Friday, and any applicant must be flexible towards these hours. There is no weekend working and we typically close for up to 2 weeks at Christmas.

The role will involve making pre-arranged calls daily, to sell our range of hot and cold food and drinks in the local area from our temperature-controlled vans. The vans need to be fully stocked and checked each day, to ensure maximum sales are consistently achieved, and fulfill our customers’ requirements. You will be accountable for stock held in the van, as well as cash taken in daily.

An enthusiastic, friendly, well presented, and polite approach to work is essential. The candidate will be dealing with customers daily, a good level of communication is required for this role, and previous sales experience would be an advantage.
