Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support catering efforts by preparing food items for events and special occasions as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
• Assist in serving meals when required, ensuring an excellent dining experience for guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not essential, with a focus on cooking, food preparation, or catering.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is desirable.
• Culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• A background in restaurant service or kitchen operations will be considered an asset.
