Sous Chef

We are on the lookout for a brilliant Sous Chef to complete the brigade in our award winning venue in Ambleside, near the stunning Stock Ghyll Force.

At Force, Ambleside, we have a Sous Chef position available

Requiring a mix of daytime and evening shifts in an ever evolving business, this is a great opportunity to be part of something special.

We are searching for a Chef who will:

  • Take responsibility and lead by example
  • Assist the Head Chef in leading, managing and developing a dynamic culinary team
  • Support the Head Chef in creating and planning menus including signature specials
  • Show adaptability and embrace change and new ideas
  • Have experience in managing food cost and inventories according to monthly targets
  • Maintain standards in food storage, rotation, quality and appearance
  • Create prep lists for the kitchen team
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,000.00 per year
