About Us

Opened in January 2024, new setting in Parsons Green offers a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment, whilst providing high quality care and education

.The nursery will sit alongside Jesse's house, a sanctuary for children and parents - featuring a gym, swimming pool, soft play and more.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a reliable, organised and positive individual to join our nursery kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is passionate about supporting children's wellbeing through healthy mealtimes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable, but a positive approach and willingness to learn are what matter most.

About You

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or food service environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • A positive, flexible and can-do attitude.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of food allergies and dietary requirements is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the nursery team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for children.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen, ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are met.
  • Support the smooth running of the kitchen by managing daily tasks efficiently.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with food orders and deliveries.
  • Complete food safety records, including temperature checks and other required documentation.
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure children's dietary needs are met and mealtimes run smoothly.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children and expect all staff to share this commitment, therefore we employ a strict screening process. Employment is thus subject to two satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
