Crane Valley Golf Club is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and hard working Food & Beverage Team Member/Chef to join our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

  • Competitive pay
  • Hoburne benefits platform
  • Hoburne Team Card which includes 50% off Food and Drink
  • Free membership at Hoburne Golf Parks
  • Discounts on holidays
  • Access to our leisure facilities on all our parks
  • Enhanced Parental Leave* (T&Cs apply)
  • 33 working days holiday (pro-rata for part-time)
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

This varied 40 hour per week dual-role position combines hands-on kitchen responsibilities with customer-facing duties across our busy clubhouse bar, restaurant, and events operation.

This permanent position offers an excellent work-life balance, with kitchen hours typically between 9:00am and 5:30pm, no split shifts, and only occasional evening work required for special events and functions.

Front of House hours may vary according to business needs.

In return, we offer a competitive rate of pay, a welcoming working environment, and the opportunity to be part of a close-knit team within one of Dorset's leading golf clubs.

Our food and beverage operation focuses on breakfast and lunch service, serving traditional clubhouse favourites alongside daily specials.

We also cater for golf days, private functions, weddings, celebrations, and special events throughout the year, providing a varied and rewarding working environment.

The role is shared between the Kitchen and Front of House departments, with the balance of duties to be discussed during the interview process.

Flexibility and a willingness to support both areas of the business are essential.

The successful candidate will assist with food preparation and service, help maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene, undertake washing-up and general kitchen duties, and provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and visitors.

You will also support the wider Food & Beverage team with daily operations and play an important role in delivering successful golf days, functions, weddings, and special events.

We are looking for someone who is positive, dependable, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, hospitality, or customer service environment would be advantageous, although attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic are just as important as experience.

Above all, you will take pride in delivering excellent service and contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests.

If you are looking for a varied hospitality role with predominantly daytime working hours, a supportive team, and a fantastic working environment, we would love to hear from you. Join us at Crane Valley Golf Club and become part of a team dedicated to delivering great food, excellent service, and memorable experiences.

If you think you have the experience, skills and attributes we are looking for, please apply.
