  • Catering to individual dietary requirements, preferences and cultural needs
  • Supporting menus that balance nutrition, choice and enjoyment
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety and kitchen standards
  • Working closely with care teams to support residents’ wellbeing
  • Contributing to a welcoming, homely dining experience every day

Who We’re Looking For

  • A passionate chef who takes pride in high‑quality, well‑prepared food
  • Someone who understands the importance of nutrition in adult care and the adjustments that may be required to meet individual needs
  • Organised, reliable and calm in a busy kitchen environment
  • A team player with a warm, resident‑focused approach
  • Experience in a care, hospitality or similar setting is desirable but not essential
  • Food hygiene qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Professional cookery qualification is desirable.

Why Join Burghley Care?

  • Be part of an exciting expansion with three new care homes launching in 2026
  • Work in beautifully designed, premium care environments
  • Cook with purpose, knowing your work directly improves residents’ quality of life
  • Join a supportive, values‑driven organisation that values your skills and creativity
  • Opportunities to grow and develop as Burghley Care continues to expan

At Burghley Care, we believe exceptional care includes exceptional food. If you’re a head chef who cares deeply about quality, nutrition and making people feel at home, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us and help create meals that truly matter.
