Join Our Team at Portal Security – Mobile Supervisors & Control Room Operators

Portal Security is a trusted provider of professional security services, committed to delivering excellence across all our operations. We are currently expanding our team and looking for dedicated Mobile Supervisors and Control Room Operators to support our growing client base.

Control Room Operator

As a Control Room Operator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring rotas and ensuring effective shift coverage.
  • Responding to incidents and escalating reports to clients as required.
  • Managing CCTV incidents and ensuring they are logged and resolved efficiently.
  • Providing general operational support to ensure smooth service delivery.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computing skills and ability to operate a variety of systems (all training will be provided)

Mobile Supervisor

As a Mobile Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting our nightshift operation through active site visits and compliance checks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting audits on officers to ensure compliance and service standards.
  • Carrying out site inductions for new staff.
  • Issuing uniform and supporting training/upskilling where needed.
  • Completing site reports and ensuring accurate administration.

Required:

  • Previous supervisory experience in the security sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good administrative and reporting skills.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites company vehicle provided .
  • Clean driving license.
  • Valid SIA Door Supervision Licence.

Key Information (Both Roles)

  • Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off rolling shifts.
  • Location: G67 2XX.
  • Overtime: Additional hours available.
