About the role
We at Cora Health are delighted to be recruiting for a Team Leader to join our growing Patient Care Coordination centre (PCC).
Our PCC is the first point of contact for our patients. The team register all referrals into our Community Service Division for our NHS contracts. You would be joining the PCC at an exciting time as we focus on operational excellence by delivering our patient care initiatives and preparing ourselves for the future. We are looking for inspirational leaders, who place coaching and people development at the heart of all they do.
You should be comfortable with complex information and getting involved in the detail, whilst having a strategic approach to all that you do.
You will be responsible for a specified NHS Service and can influence and lead the performance of up to 15 Patient Care Advisors whilst empowering them to provide the best possible service.
As a Team Leader you will monitor and ensure the achievement of the team’s operational performance KPI’s, continuous improvement and personal development. You will use data to drive performance and develop excellent working relationships with Service Managers across the business. As a proven leader you will coach and instil a high-performance culture.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be passionate about leadership with a managerial background and understanding of omni-channel environments.
Previous experience in a managerial role, ideally from a contact centre environment.
You will be experienced in working with numerical data and have the ability to interpret it accordingly to take necessary action.
You will be comfortable in making key service enhancement and patient centred decisions whilst operating within a compliant and governed environment where patient safety is of paramount importance.
What will stand you out from the rest will be your unwavering passion for your customers (in our case our patients) and inspiring your team to live this beliefs in every interaction, demonstrating our values of a Can Do Attitude, Acting with Empathy and Committing to Being Better.
What makes us different?
Cora Health is a north east company with our head office at Quorum Business Park in Longbenton. This brings a wide range of opportunities to grow and develop as a colleague. You’ll be in the heart of what’s going on and be able to develop your career as you become more experienced within the business.
But what makes us really different is the type of work we do and the purpose that every colleague at Cora Health has. Whatever role we perform in, whether that’s a Patient Care Advisor, a Physiotherapist or a Leader, what brings us all together is that we are there to improve the quality of our patients lives. Every minute. Every day. And that’s really rewarding.

Performance Awards: Excel in your objectives and be rewarded further for your hard work with a range of pay, gifts and incentives awarded alongside attending our annual colleague awards to be treated and feel special.
Savings and Support: Make huge saving by making the most of Blue Light and Healthcare Services discounts as well as the very important employer pension contributions.
Team Building: Join in on team-building and away days to build strong connections with your colleagues.
