We have an exciting opportunity for Band 2 Healthcare Assistants to help us deliver our services to the Royal Free Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Communities
Chase Farm Hospital is seeking dynamic people to join our team in Day Surgery.
Chase Farm Hospital opened 5 years ago and is an exciting place to work, with dedicated elective surgery theatres including day surgery areas and recovery that supports 8 theatres, one of which is a Barn theatre complex. The Barn Theatre is a large room with 4 theatres with no dividing walls, this is the new design for ultra-clean theatres for elective Orthopaedic procedures.
We are the North London Orthopaedic Centre / Surgical Hub which is exciting times for learning and developing skills in Orthopaedics.
We have just been given the GIRFT Surgical Hub Accreditation May 2023.
Chase Farm Hospital is a fully elective and the most digitally advanced hospital site in the UK, supporting the following specialities .
Orthopaedic, Urology, Gynaecology, Oral Max Fax, ENT, General Surgery, Ophthalmology and vascular.
We are looking for motivated and dynamic people who can support our Day Surgery / Theatre teams whiles also developing your own skills to ensure progressive training is happening to help staff with promotions in the future.
There are no qualifications involved and we are excited to advertise to the public for staff who are keen on starting a productive and enjoyable job within the NHS.
Working in Day Surgery Supporting Nurses with Admissions and Discharges, Supporting patients to be discharged on the same day as their admission.
You will have training on the Electronic Patient Record System from Oracle Cerner to be able to use the system and admit patients, this will also cover the Integrated Patient testing devices such as Pregnancy and Urinalysis.
