Based conveniently on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, we pride ourselves on a commitment to customer service and ethical sales practices. Due to sustained growth, we are looking for ambitious and personable individuals to join our expanding team.
The Opportunity: Join Our Call Centre Team
We are currently seeking proactive, self-motivated individuals to join our busy call centre as a telesales agent. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to become a vital part of our operational team.
Core Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this role is to manage and process inbound customer interest and effectively coordinate our sales representatives’ diaries. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Liaison: Acting as the first point of contact for prospective customers, managing inbound telephone and digital enquiries.
- Appointment Scheduling: Skillfully scheduling and managing appointments for our team of field-based representatives to conduct home visit demonstrations. This requires strong organisational skills and attention to geographical logistics.
- Data Management: Accurate and timely use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to log interactions, update customer records, and manage appointment statuses.
- Ethical Communication: Maintaining Charterhouse Mobility’s high standards of professionalism and customer care in all interactions.
Please Note: We are committed to an ethical, customer-led sales approach. We do not engage in cold calling. All customer enquiries are inbound, generated through successful advertising campaigns in print (newspapers & magazines), tv, direct mail initiatives, digital marketing efforts, and valuable customer referrals.
What We Are Looking For:
- A proactive, self-motivated, and highly personable individual.
- A positive attitude and a professional phone manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Prior experience within a product or service-based business environment is preferable.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is desirable, though not essential.
- A willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: Starting salary ranges from £27,000 to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience, and paid pro rata.
- Performance-Based Earnings: This role is complemented by a generous performance-based bonus structure, offering an on-target earning (OTE) potential of £36,000 to £40,000 per annum.
- Training & Support: Comprehensive initial training and ongoing professional support will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
- Career Progression: As a rapidly expanding business, we offer successful candidates genuine opportunities for career development and advancement within the company.
- Annual Leave: 28 days of annual leave entitlement (inclusive of bank holidays).
- Monthly Team Prizes and Target Bonuses
Working Hours and Location:
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Schedule: 5 days per week. The role requires flexibility, including weekend cover on a rotational basis.
- Work Location: In person at our office premises on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds.
