Full job description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join the team at the Vines Restaurant, Chatsworth Garden Centre.
If you have a passion for great coffee, enjoy providing exceptional customer service, and thrive in a busy café environment, we'd love to hear from you. You'll join a friendly team dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every customer, whether they're stopping by for their morning coffee or meeting friends for lunch.
Position: Barista
Location: The Vines Restaurant, Chatsworth Garden Centre
Hours: Part Time 30 Hours

The Role
As a Barista, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality hot and cold drinks while providing outstanding customer service in our busy Café Theatre. You'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every customer enjoys their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving high-quality coffees, teas and speciality drinks.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times.
- Taking food and drink orders and serving customers efficiently.
- Operating the coffee machine and maintaining excellent drink quality.
- Keeping the café clean, organised and well presented.
- Supporting colleagues during busy service periods.
- Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous barista experience and is confident using commercial coffee machines.
- Has a passion for coffee and delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people.
- Works well under pressure in a busy café environment.
- Is reliable, organised and a great team player.
- Is flexible and able to work weekends as part of a rota.
