Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team, in our restaurant, The Smoke Room, Humber Street, Hull. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of food production and safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and working with a well established team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu and customer preferences.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and meets safety standards.
  • Implement food safety protocols to guarantee the highest standards of hygiene in food preparation.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining the establishment's identity.
  • Monitor food presentation and portion control to ensure consistency in quality.
