Stables Junior Sous Chef - Prestonfield House, Edinburgh

Competitive renumeration package £44,625 per annum

4 day working week

Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join its banqueting brigade.

Our package includes:

The on-target earning potential for this role is £44,625 per annum, comprising a base salary of £38,625 plus a substantial share of staff gratuities estimated at £6,000 per annum
48 hours per week, working pattern 4 days on 3 days off
Free staff meals and on-site parking
5.6 weeks holiday

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and enthusiastic banqueting brigade, committed to showcasing the very best of Scotland's produce. Ideally the successful candidate will have recent experience at recognised establishments and possess good organisation and communication skills.

Along with our Executive Head Chef and Stables Sous Chef you will play a key role in maintaining and building the property's already excellent 5 Red Star and 2 AA Rosette reputation and have the desire and determination to climb the career ladder and help take the business to an even higher level.

Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.
