Full job description

Position: Chef Manager

Pay: Up to £38,000 depending on experience

Location: Andover, SP11

Role Overview
Chef manager required for busy care site near Andover. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the kitchen operation, managing a team of 6 staff. You will have responsibility for writing and costing the menus and purchasing the supplies in order to meet the specific dietary needs of up to 80 residents.

The site has a central production kitchen with 2 additional satellite kitchens around the complex. Food is transported using hot trolleys and served in each dining room. We also serve lunchtime meals to assisted living clients within the central production area.

Working on a rota basis for 5 days out of 7, typically this role will involve working alternate weekends and a variety of early shifts ending at 3pm and late shifts until 6pm.

Experience of catering within the care sector for varying dietary and health needs will be beneficial to this role.

Full on-site training will be provided, along with a comprehensive head office induction. Uniform and a free meal on duty are also included.
