Head Chef - Dunstable

Are you a talented and driven chef with a passion for fresh produce and creative dishes?

We are seeking a talented Head Chef looking to build on their reputation and be the lead in our kitchen in delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of their dishes, driving standards, inspiring our team, and ensuring every dish meets our customer's high expectations. Alongside overseeing the restaurant’s high-quality food offering, you will also be responsible for the menu, including the preparation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen staff rota.
  • Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.
  • Minimising waste through effective food production techniques.
  • Directly control GP within the kitchen.
  • Ensuring that dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Accommodation is available to the successful candidate.
