The Rose & Crown in Knutsford

is looking for a fresh and energised Head Chef to join an enthusiastic and happy team.

The offer:

£39,000 - £44,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

The Role:

Head Chef

Collaborating with Senior Management and ownership to decide business direction

Menu Development

Stock control and GP%

Management of the kitchen team (setting rotas, hiring, training, motivating and promoting a positive work environment)

Responsibility for Food Safety and Hygiene

You:

A passion for fresh food cooking is essential.

Recent experience of fresh food cooking in a similar environment is essential

Us:

The Rose & Crown is a vibrant business right in the centre of Knutsford. With a busy bar, a small but perfectly formed 54 cover restaurant, 9 guest rooms and a large outdoor terrace. At it’s heart it’s a traditional pub. The bar focuses on cask ale, wine and open fires. The excellent food is primarily focused on recognisable ingredients and the traditional concepts of a Great British Menu. However, we’re not interested in following the usual Gastro Pub crowd. We want to forge our own path.

We’re a truly independent venue offering a genuine opportunity to join us in something unique and exciting. We’re positive about the future for ourselves and hospitality. We pride ourselves on a happy team who have a great time serving our customers.
