Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our vibrant kitchen team at The Olde Coach House in Astby St Ledger. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Help in the training of new kitchen staff as required.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
