We are a trusted residential home for the elderly for over 30 years, providing a warm and welcoming environment for residents aged 60 and above. With a focus on personal care and support, we strive to create a homely atmosphere where residents can thrive.

Summary

We are seeking a talented Chef, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Your culinary expertise will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare balanced meals that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with care staff to accommodate special dietary requirements.
  • Create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and resident preferences.
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order as necessary.
  • Ensure kitchen is kept clean all the time
  • Weekly food order

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and adapt to changing needs.
  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and nutrition is highly desirable.
