Full job description

We are currently looking for a talented Kitchen Manager at Tencreek Holiday Park to join us on a full time basis. The Holiday Park has a high volume of food production, fast service with attention to food quality and presentation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager in compilation, delivering and exceeding budgeted income figures whilst maintaining margin
  • Assisting Food and Beverage Manager in recruiting, managing and motivating staff members as well as coaching and developing staff members to encourage promotion.
  • Monitor stock levels, communication to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure that the standards of cooking, presentation and service are implemented to standard operating manuals
  • Leading by example
  • Monitoring team e.g. portion control. Ensure that the food diary is completed correctly by self & team – e.g. cleaning schedules, health & safety, food hygiene etc
  • To have strict control and security of stocks, implement company stock take as and when required.

A successful Person will have:

Job Duties:

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
  • Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
