Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations within your designated section, ensuring efficiency and consistency
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff and apprentices
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with legal requirements and company policies
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage waste effectively
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu ideas and improve existing recipes
  • Ensure all food preparation is completed within specified timeframes to meet service demands
  • Support the overall organisation of the kitchen during busy periods, ensuring smooth workflow

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen environment
  • Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of diverse cuisines and techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
