Full job description

Celino's Italian Trattoria in Glasgow’s Westend G11 6AB are looking for a strong chef de partie.

4 day or 5 day working week.

The successful candidate will be:
Confident and dedicated to producing a very high standard of meat, fish and pasta dishes.

A clean and tidy worker, maintaining a professional and respectful work
environment at all times insuring food safety is adhered to and recorded.

Work well with other team members to ensure customers and team satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
  • Help train new kitchen staff as required, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a chef de partie.
  • Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
