Overview

Chef - The Cabin Beach Cafe, Perranuthnoe

We are just above the beach in Perranuthnoe and we have a great year round business that was first established in 1992 and continues to grow each year.

We have a substantial breakfast and lunch trade and a growing evening service. The menu varies at different times of the year - Bistro, Street Food, Tapas, BBQ, up to 4 evenings weekly in the season, reducing during the winter. We take huge pride in our food and also do everything we can to offer excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will work alongside our excellent existing kitchen team, 5 days a week, 1 to 2 evenings. We are obviously busier in the warmer months so there are more hours available from Easter through to Autumn and then less during the winter but please note that we are open 7 days weekly throughout the year, every year.

You should have at least 2 years experience and have competent cooking skills, a food safety certificate, an awareness of allergens and be open minded with a positive team attitude. Also be able to cover breakfast and lunch service. Support, training and guidance will be provided. You will need good communication skills, along with a willingness to work hard as part of a professional but friendly team.

Planned working hours will be a mixture of days and evenings, week days and weekends and pay will be based on ability and experience.
