Full job description

Bourton Hall is a stunning Exclusive Wedding Venue in Warwickshire and the newest Wedding Venue in the Country House Weddings Group. This stunning Italianate Mansion is situated in immaculate manicured grounds.

We are recruiting an Experienced Head Chef to manage a team of Chefs and create an amazing working environment for the team to learn and grow.

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering the most incredible culinary experiences
  • Directing the food preparation process & delegating tasks
  • Cooking & preparing high quality dishes
  • Create menu items, recipes & develop dishes
  • Supervising, motivating & working closely with other Chefs of all levels
  • Being responsible for health & safety
  • Being responsible for food hygiene practices
  • Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
  • Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering

Responsibilities

  • Produce food of an impeccable standard
  • Assist the training of all catering staff to achieve the highest possible standards
  • Ensure the kitchen is adequately staffed at all times, in line with budget set, hours to include breakfast and buffet
  • Ensure highest level of cleanliness is achieved in all catering work areas
  • Ensure smooth running of each event, maintaining high standards at all times
