About HATS

Healthcare And Transport Services (HATS) Group provides services for the transport of children and adults with special needs for the majority of the London Boroughs and has operations across the UK in Birmingham, Manchester . HATS also provides high-quality non-emergency and high dependency and mental health patient transport services (PTS) to the NHS, Local Authorities and their associated bodies.

Many of those service users and patients entrusted to HATS care are vulnerable individuals including those with severe learning difficulties, moderate learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs, social, emotional and behavioral difficulties as well as mainstream.

Job Description

Ambulance Care Assistant - Chelsea and Westminster Hospital

Monday - Friday

10:00 - 20:00

£13.85 per hour

The role of an Ambulance Care Assistant (ACA) is to provide great care and support to all patients travelling with us. You will be caring and compassionate and have a great ability to talk to patients. If you enjoy being out and about, meeting and helping people and are committed to delivering a great patient experience, please get in touch.

You will be responsible for transporting patients to and from hospital appointments and ensuring they are safe and well cared for. You will be driving ambulances, so a driving licence is essential with no more than 6 points. It would be great if you have some experience of working in a caring environment but this is not essential as full accredited training will be given. You will need a clear enhanced DBS.

Amazing training and great support will be provided along with uniform.

We support the NHS every hour of every day and so we need people who can work at weekends as required.
