Science Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a Science graduate with a passion for education and a desire to inspire the next generation of scientists? Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain school-based experience before pursuing a career in teaching.

The Role:
As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students in Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support to boost understanding and engagement
  • Assisting teachers with practicals, lesson planning, and resource preparation
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging curiosity and confidence in the subject
  • Gaining invaluable classroom experience within a high-performing science department
