Full job description

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Customer Service Assistants to join our Betting Team at Uttoexeter Racecourse and beyond. You’ll be right at the heart of the action, working across public, restaurant and hospitality areas of the racecourse.

We are looking for Team Members who are able to work with us at multiple sites such as Chester, Haydock and Aintree Racecourse. There will be additional opportunities at national racing festivals such as Aintree Grand National, Cheltenham Festival, York Ebor.

Britbet is a unique partnership created by British racecourses, providing betting services for racegoers on live race days. We deliver an exciting, customer-focused betting experience, offering both Tote and Britbet branded bets as a key part of the race day atmosphere at 58 racecourses across the UK.

Who are we looking for?

· Applicants 18+

· Drivers/keen travellers

· Excellent Customer Service skills - experience preferred

· Excellent Cash Handling skills - experience preferred

· Honest and reliable team members

· Commitment to understanding betting product knowledge

· Providing a welcoming and friendly customer service

· Ensuring bets are placed accurately

· Providing accurate pay outs on winning tickets

· Learning and understanding our products

Pay Rate

· Customer Service Assistant - £12.90 + holiday pay 13.3% = £14.61 per hour

. Courier/Pool Pitch - £14.05 + holiday pay 13.3% = £15.91 per hour

· The same rate for all ages 18+

· Monthly pay
