Experienced Play Worker

Location: Beverly HU17, Bridlington YO16, Hessle, Cottingham

Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm

Dates: From 20th July - 28th August

Are you passionate about inspiring children through play?
The Buzz Hub Collective is looking for enthusiastic and play workers to join our team for our upcoming holiday sports and craft camps.

About the Role

As a Playworker, you’ll deliver fun, engaging and inclusive sessions for children aged 4–11 during our holiday programmes. You’ll help create a safe, positive and energetic environment where every child can learn new skills, build confidence and have fun.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a variety of activity sessions
  • Engage, motivate and support children of all abilities
  • Ensure sessions are delivered safely and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and camp staff
  • Be a positive role model for all participants

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 2 sports or Education Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children aged 4–11 (e.g. in schools, clubs or camps)
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
  • Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
  • Paediatric First Aid is desirable but training can be provided
  • Positive, energetic and reliable attitude
