Hours: 10:00pm – 8:00am
Shifts: 7 nights per week (full-time hours available)

We are looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Children's Complex Care Support Workers to join a dedicated 1:1 care package supporting a young child with complex health needs during overnight hours.
This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to a child's quality of life while working within a supportive clinical team.
About the Role
Working on a dedicated 1:1 basis, you will provide overnight clinical and personal care within the family home, ensuring the child remains safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring respiratory status throughout the night
- Supporting overnight CPAP ventilation
- Airway management and regular suctioning
- Oxygen administration when clinically indicated
- PEG feeding, medication administration and hydration
- Seizure monitoring and following seizure management plans
- Repositioning every two hours to maintain comfort and skin integrity
- Personal care and continence support
- Monitoring skin condition and PEG site
- Accurate record keeping and clinical documentation
- Providing reassurance, comfort and emotional support
- Working closely with the child's family and multidisciplinary team
Clinical Skills Required
Successful applicants should have experience with, or be willing to undertake training in:
- CPAP / Non-Invasive Ventilation (Stellar 150)
- Airway suctioning
- Oxygen therapy
- Pulse oximetry / saturation monitoring
- PEG feeding and medication administration
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Moving & Handling (including hoisting)
- Complex paediatric care
We're Looking For Someone Who Is

- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Able to recognise deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately
- Professional with excellent communication skills
- Passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 12 months experience supporting individuals with complex care needs
- Previous experience supporting children (preferred)
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to work waking night shifts on a rota
