Working in home care means your "office" is out in the real world, and what better place to be than nestled right at the edge of the Chiltern Hills? Imagine your workday taking you past the scenic Grand Union Canal at Tring Wharf, enjoying the rolling countryside views, or grabbing a well-deserved coffee in the historic town centre after a visit.

You’ll be bringing vital support to the heart of these tight-knit communities, working in and around:

Pay & Benefits

We believe great work deserves great pay. You will be paid per shift at the following rates:

• Weekdays (Mon–Fri): £14.70 per hour

• Weekends (Sat–Sun): £16.50 per hour

• Mileage allowance: £0.30p per mile

• Shift Patterns

We run 7 days a week, offering flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle so you can still enjoy everything the local area has to offer:

• Day Shifts: 07:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Evening Shifts: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day as a domiciliary Care Assistant is different, but your impact is always the same - life-changing. You’ll support people to stay independent in their own homes and be a trusted part of a close-knit, local team.

✨ You’ll help with:

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect – bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming

• Assisting with medication – preparation and administration

• Helping with mobility – and using aids/equipment safely

• Preparing meals/snacks – and offering mealtime support

• Carrying out light domestic duties – laundry, making beds, light cleaning

• Offering companionship and reassurance – building meaningful relationships

✨ You’ll also:

• Encourage social engagement and family connections

• Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

• ️ Respond to emergencies safely and effectively

• Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

Hold onto your hats, because you don't need any social care experience to join our merry band of care crusaders! We offer full, paid training — all you need is a heart of gold, reliability, and the drive to make a difference.

• Driving Requirement: A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role to travel between your local clients.
