Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef specialising in Indo-Chinese and Indian cuisineto lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in authentic Indian cooking as well as Indo-Chinese fusion dishes, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high food quality and kitchen efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian and Indo-Chinese dishesto a high standard.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Develop and update menus, including new dishes and specials.
  • Manage food preparation, stock levels, and kitchen inventory.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations (Food Safety Level 2/3 preferred).
  • Train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Monitor food costs, reduce waste, and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Work closely with management to maintain service standards and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chefin Indian or Indo-Chinese cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian curries, tandoor dishes, Indo-Chinese sauces, stir-fry techniques, and wok cooking.
  • Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional culinary training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in restaurant menu planning and kitchen management.
  • Knowledge of modern plating and presentation techniques.
