The marketing officer's jobs involve but are not limited to the maintenance of the company's WeChat moment and public account, Instagram and other social media platforms, arranging the usage of promotional material, organising promotion with stores and consumers, creating marketing reports for suppliers, preparing monthly promotion newsletters and some light graphic design tasks for the social media platform. Outside of the creative marketing tasks, the job will involve a moderate amount of administrative tasks such as stock management and writing of reports. It will also require coordination with sales and purchase colleagues as well as outside partners such as suppliers and graphic designers etc.

Required Skills and Experiences

• Must have marketing-related work experience or qualifications.
• Must demonstrate good writing skills in Chinese for business reports and social media posts.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin and English, Cantonese is also preferred.
• Must be able to carry out light graphic design tasks on Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience in administrating Social Media Platforms preferred, e.g. WeChat Public Account, Instragram, Xiaohongshu etc.
• Experience in E-commerce preferred, e.g. selling on Wechat Mini Program, Taobao, Amazon, eBay, etc preferred.
• Experience or hobbit in photography preferred.
• Experience in the food retail industry or student-related industry preferred.

Preferred Characteristic

• Good team spirit, able to work with various departments to coordinate events.
• Organized, able to work independently on a project with good reporting skills and meet the deadline.
• Innovative in marketing method and sensitive to the trending topic and products in Mainland China.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and efficiency.
