Mandarin Translator - Bespoke Courses (AUB Academy)
AUB Academy
Join Our Creative Community – Support AUB Academy’s Bespoke Courses
Are you an experienced Mandarin and English speaker with a passion for education and cross-cultural communication?
Arts University Bournemouth’s AUB Academy is expanding its provision of bespoke and international courses, and we are looking to build a pool of skilled Mandarin Translators to support delivery across a range of programmes for adult learners.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking creative institution at a time of growth. Our bespoke courses are tailored to specific groups and partners and may include short courses, workshops, and specialist programmes delivered throughout the year.
As a Mandarin Translator, you will work closely with tutors, staff, and learners to provide clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive translation support. You will help ensure an inclusive and engaging learning experience for Mandarin-speaking participants across a variety of creative and educational contexts.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to:
- Be part of a thriving and supportive arts and education community
- Support innovative, bespoke, and international course delivery
- Enable accessible and inclusive learning experiences for diverse groups
- Work flexibly alongside other professional or freelance commitments
We welcome applications from Mandarin speakers with native or near-native fluency, strong communication skills, and experience working in educational or group settings. Experience translating for both adult learners and young people is highly desirable. You should be professional, reliable, adaptable, and confident working with a wide range of learners, including international groups.
If you are excited by the opportunity to contribute to a creative, inclusive, and globally engaged learning environment at AUB Academy, we would love to hear from you.
Please apply with a short covering statement outlining your experience and teaching interests, along with your CV, to be considered for inclusion in our pool.
Join us and help inspire the next generation of creatives.
