Nōshi Restaurants launched an exciting new restaurant brand, with our first site now open in Nottingham and ambitious plans to expand across the UK.

Opened in October 2025 following a £4 million investment, Nōshi has been created to deliver a truly elevated dining experience, combining opulent interiors, exceptional service, a high-energy atmosphere, live entertainment, and modern Japanese and Chinese-inspired cuisine in one of Nottingham’s most striking restaurant settings.

We are now looking for a confident, mature, polished, and highly personable Guest Experience Hosts to join our front-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, loves engaging with guests, and understands how important first impressions are in delivering an exceptional guest journey.

As a Guest Experience Host, you will be one of the first faces our guests see when they arrive and one of the last they remember when they leave. You will play a key role in creating the warm, high-end, energetic welcome that defines the Nōshi experience.

Key Responsibilities

As Guest Experience Host, your role will include:

• Answering the phone and dealing with guest enquiries professionally and confidently
• Giving guests a warm, polished welcome on arrival and a strong goodbye when leaving
• Using SevenRooms to make, manage, and amend bookings
• Managing reservations and walk-ins effectively to help maximise covers
• Adding themes, trends, preferences, and key details onto guest notes with strong attention to detail
• Maintaining high levels of communication with the wider restaurant team at all times
• Supporting the flow of service and helping ensure a seamless guest journey
• Assisting with the live entertainment experience, including napkin waving and sparkler shows
• Helping to build and maintain the high-energy atmosphere Nōshi is known for
• Upholding exceptional presentation, service standards, and professionalism at all times

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident, friendly, polished, and professional
• Passionate about hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy restaurant environment
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A strong communicator who can work closely with the wider restaurant team
• Able to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure
• Smart, presentable, and someone who takes genuine pride in their appearance

Previous experience in a host, reservations, or front-of-house role would be highly desirable. Experience using SevenRooms would also be a strong advantage, although the right personality, attitude, and presentation are just as important.

Experience

Preferred experience in:

• Hosting / Reservations / Front of House
• Luxury or premium hospitality environments
• Guest service and customer interaction
• Using booking systems such as SevenRooms

Presentation Standards

At Nōshi, presentation is extremely important. You must look smart, be well presented, and take real pride in your appearance. We are looking for someone who reflects the high standards and premium image of the restaurant at all times.
