Key Information

  • £32,000 salary
  • Full-time, office-based role
  • Monday to Friday
  • No previous property experience required
  • Full training provided
  • Fluent Mandarin and English required
  • Clear opportunities for progression

About the Role

Marc & Partners is looking for a bright, hardworking, and ambitious Mandarin-speaking candidate to join our Repairs Team in central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn quickly, take responsibility, and build a long-term career in property. You do not need previous property experience. We care more about attitude, attention to detail, willingness to improve, and the ability to communicate well and stay organised.

We are a company that values teamwork, progression, and good service. A high number of our clients come through referrals, and many of our team members were referred by others or have referred people to join us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Calling and emailing tenants about repair issues
  • Following up with contractors and chasing progress
  • Updating landlords on repair matters
  • Keeping clear and accurate records
  • Helping move issues forward efficiently and professionally
  • Communicating with tenants, landlords, contractors, developers, and utility providers

Many tenants are easier to help over the phone than through long back-and-forth emails, so you should be comfortable speaking confidently on the phone. Sometimes people simply want to talk to someone who listens, explains clearly, and helps move the situation forward.

What to Expect

This role can be challenging, but full training will be provided.

You will learn how to handle situations where tenants are unhappy, where expectations are high, or where delays depend on third parties such as contractors, developers, managing agents, or utility providers. You will be trained how to stay calm, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and deal professionally with situations where our company may be blamed even when the final outcome depends on others.

Many of our clients come from places such as China, Hong Kong, and Dubai, where issues may sometimes be resolved more quickly than in the UK. Part of the role is learning how to explain this clearly and manage expectations in a professional way.

What We’re Looking For

  • Fluent Mandarin and English, spoken and written
  • Organised and able to keep track of multiple tasks
  • Assertive and confident in following up with people
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone
  • Willing to learn quickly and take feedback well
  • Mature, responsible, and able to recognise mistakes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A genuine desire to help tenants
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability

What You’ll Receive

  • Full training and ongoing support
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Central London office next to Oxford Circus
  • Laptop and business phone provided
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Company pension
  • Friendly, professional, and supportive team

Important Application Information

If selected, you will be invited to attend an office trial of around 3 to 4 hours. This is not paid work. It is a mock work session designed to help us see how you communicate and learn, while also giving you the chance to meet the team and decide whether the role is right for you.

Please answer all application questions in full. Applicants who do not answer every question will not be considered.

We are looking for people with both ability and attention to detail, so completing the application carefully is important.
